The standard twist of $L$-functions revisited

چکیده
The analytic properties of the standard twist $F(s,\alpha)$, where $F(s)$ belongs to a wide class $L$-functions, are prime importance in describing structure Selberg class. In this paper we present deeper study such properties. particular, show that $F(s,\alpha)$ satisfies functional equation new type, somewhat resembling Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function. Moreover, detect finer polar characterizing two different ways occurrence finitely or infinitely many poles as well giving formula for their residues.

The Decays K L → l + l − l ′ + l ′ − Revisited
The double lepton pair decay modes of the KL meson are analyzed including all contributions of order p in Chiral Perturbation Theory. The experimentally established eeee mode and the recently observed eeμμ mode are discussed in detail. Typeset using REVTEX 0 In this note we reconsider the double lepton pair decays KL → llll that were studied many years ago by Miyazaki and Takasugi [1]. The two ...
متن کاملTwist - 3 polarized structure functions ∗
We review the nucleon’s twist-3 polarized structure functions from the viewpoint of gauge invariant, nonlocal light-cone operators in QCD. We discuss a systematic treatment of the polarized structure functions and the corresponding parton distribution functions. We emphasize unique features of higher twist distributions, and the role of the QCD equations of motion to derive their anomalous dime...
متن کاملSOLVING FUZZY LINEAR PROGRAMMING PROBLEMS WITH LINEAR MEMBERSHIP FUNCTIONS-REVISITED
Recently, Gasimov and Yenilmez proposed an approach for solving two kinds of fuzzy linear programming (FLP) problems. Through the approach, each FLP problem is first defuzzified into an equivalent crisp problem which is non-linear and even non-convex. Then, the crisp problem is solved by the use of the modified subgradient method. In this paper we will have another look at the earlier defuzzifi...
متن کاملA Standard Zero Free Region for Rankin Selberg L-functions
A standard zero free region is obtained for Rankin Selberg L-functions L(s, f×f) where f is a tempered Maass form on GL(n) and f is not necessarily self dual. The method is based on the theory of Eisenstein series generalizing a work of Sarnak. §
